*Hijacking in Germany
Free Bird Airlines plane hijacked from Munich to Istanbul carrying 150
passengers on 6/29. German Special Operations overpowered hijackers
when the
pilot managed to get the plane back on the ground in Germany. No passengers
injured. The Special Ops troops involved may have been from
Grenzschutzgruppe-9, aka GSG-9 ,which handles counter-terrorist ops
for the
German military. Ron W (What does this mean - aside from the obvious?
Don't
know who is still in town from the NATO meeting, which Turkey just hosted.
Don't know if this is part of another coordinated effort. Etc. etc.

eyes and ears open Boys and Girls! - editor)
*Re last Bulletin
"With regards to the excerpt from the "Informed Source"
Bulletin that I have
just read... the web site http://www.hostinganime.com/iraqnews1/index.html
does in fact host the video of Kim Sun Ills murder. If you click on
the link
to the website a page written in Arabic script appears. The two lines
of
Arabic script at the bottom of the page are hyperlinks to two files
(they
are both the same file just copied twice) the files are called
"koria1(1).zip". These files are windows media video files
(wmv) and are
video footage of Kim Sun Ill pleading for his life, followed by a clip
of a
seemingly calm (very quiet - probably already half dead) Kim Sun Ill
with
his raghead captors spouting some BS followed by the really heroic one
drawing a rather large knife and then carrying out the heinous murder
of Kim
Sun Ill. My personal thoughts on this whole clusterfu** are quite
simple...lets stop dilly dallying around out there in the name of Political
Correctness (politics didn't work or our boys would not be out there)
and
lets start putting boot to ass in a hard, extremely violent fashion
and show
these rag headed, camel stuffing, pillow biting arab son's o B*tches
how to
fight a war and win using superior firepower, well thought out and executed
military tactics and not using bullying tactics and murder of innocent
people to try to achieve an objective. There are people out there in
the
intelligence community who know who these a**holes are so lets stop
screwing
around with politics, kick the politically biased media out of the picture
and do some serious persuading out there. Let's not let this get like
another Northern Ireland, where the killers are lawyered up with the
best
slime money can buy, and the soldiers doing their jobs are sent to prison
on
BS charges because no-one wants to upset the politicians. They want
to meet
their god so badly, let's help them by arranging a meeting between them."
Sincerely,
A highly disgruntled ex UK grunt

"Whilst it must be said that it is deplorable and despicable that
anyone
should suffer a beheading at the hands of these "animals",
do they not know
what they are doing when they capture and threaten to behead one of
the
"corps". As a British Commando, I say to these inhuman excuses,
Watch your
backs, the "family" has cousins and brothers around the world
and we will
look for you, we will be waiting next to your virgins and exact the
punishment!!! By going to meet your maker you will not escape from your
deeds!"
Kind regards

*Here's the inside info on the USMC being held-
Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun is out of Lejeune. He's been missing since 21Jun04
.....because he was UA. His wife is living in Lebanon, he's not a US
citizen
even (Lebanese). He was making his way on foot across the Iraqi countryside
to get to his wife when he was picked up by the bad guys. He speaks
four
languages and is a Marine - but he was on his own when caught - he was
NOT
lured out. (hmm?)
*Re last Bulletin:...another deserving citizen..
What the helicopter video didn't show is that this as-hole had an unknown
metal object in his hand, it was dark and they couldn't tell what it
was,
and he was non-compliant. So they beat him into submission to get control
of
what could easily have been a weapon. BTW metal flashlights were outlawed
on
patrol many years back. They are now "High Impact" plastic
<grin> He's just
damn lucky somebody on scene didn't cap him for resisting. c (things
just
keep getting better: Al I'm-as-dumb-as-a-rock-and -can-prove-it Sharpton
is
now in LA town....just to see that justice is done, I'm sure.) ....and
this..... "A suspected car thief denied he was carrying wire cutters
that
could have been mistaken for a gun when he was beaten during a televised
arrest. Stanley Miller told his lawyer Monday that he wasn't carrying
any
metal objects when he was struck 11 times with a flashlight as he lay
on the
ground following a chase last week. "If (police) came up with something,
the
information I'm getting is they either planted it on him or they're
making
it up," attorney Mark Werksman said after a jailhouse interview
with his
client. Officer John J. Hatfield, who kicked Miller and then struck
him with
the flashlight, has declined to publicly discuss the confrontation.
However,
he told LAPD investigators last week that he was trying to stun Miller
after
another officer, who was trying to handcuff the man, felt a metal object
in
Miller's pants and yelled "gun," the Los Angeles Times reported.
The object
turned out to be wire cutters, the Times said, citing unnamed sources
close
to the investigation. (Ah! The old police throw-down-wire-cutters-ploy!)
*And it gets even better in California...... "Conditioning by
the
enemy".....
"On Monday, June 28, the Sacramento Valley office of the Council
on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Sacramento) conducted diversity training
for more than 30 graduating cadets at the Sacramento Police Department
Academy. CAIR-Sacramento representatives offered a PowerPoint presentation
designed to make the cadets aware of issues that they may face when
dealing
with the diverse Muslim community in Sacramento. Issues addressed in
the
presentation included the basic tenets of Islam, the status of Muslim
women,
the diversity of the American Muslim community, and ways in which area
Muslims can have better relations with law enforcement authorities.
A
question-and-answer session followed the presentation. CAIR-Sacramento
also
distributed a booklet, called "A Law Enforcement Official's Guide
to Islamic
Religious Practices." The booklet covers issues such as
religiously-sensitive techniques for body searches, proper etiquette
for
entering Muslim homes and advice on outreach to the Islamic community.
"With
more than 50,000 Muslims living in the greater Sacramento area, law
enforcement officials need to be aware of issues related to the Islamic
community, particularly the disturbing growth in bias-related incidents,"
said CAIR-Sacramento Executive Director Basim Elkarra. "It is important
to
keep the lines of communication open between law enforcement officials
and
the Muslim community," said CAIR-Sacramento Executive Committee
member Maren
Shawesh. "Many cadets thanked us for coming and said they found
the
presentation to be very informative." She said more diversity workshops
are
planned in the next few months. CAIR, America's largest Islamic civil
liberties group, is head quartered in Washington, D.C., and has 28 regional
offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada." Chris
*Re last bulletin: Arabic script in banners (on web
site listed in paragraph
#1 above)
"What better way to hide operational and other flash intel, than
to have
rotating banner ads with the message hidden in the images in stego. Almost
everybody ignores them now. The arab script may just be a tag so they
know
which banner ads to decrypt. Perhaps they need a closer look from a trained
computer scientist." c

*So.....Translations from the Arabic banners... (on web site listed
in
paragraph #1 above)
"Can't believe this is hosted in the U.S. The words below are the
name of
the organization that is led by Al-Zarkawi who is leading the insurgency
in
Iraq. They claim that the South Korean prisoner was doing missionary
work in
Muslim land and that he was helping the U.S. Forces. More so, at the
end of
the page, they refer to Al-Zarkawi as "Shiekh" (tribal or
religious leader)
and even though I have not looked at these sites in awhile, this is
the
first time I see Al-Zarkawi referred to with this title indicating his
expanded leadership role. The words below translate to "The Group
for Jihad
and Unity" The reference to the word Unity refers to the unification
of all
Muslims under the rule of Allah and the application of the Islamic Code
"Al-Sharia" across all lands. It also implies submitting all
non-Muslims
"Kafar" (infidels) to the Islamic Code or collecting tax from
non-Muslims in
Muslim lands in exchange for safety, or alternatively, killing them.
The
word unity in this context also means that there is no God but Allah
-
rejecting the Christian and Jewish beliefs in God and affirming Islam
as the
only means of salvation.

What a messed up group. I hope that drone got Al-Zarkawi earlier last
week.
The planned attacks in Jordan from 6 - 8 weeks ago - where they planned
to
attack the Jordanian Intelligence Services building with chemicals and
explosives still bother me. It indicates a shift in their strategy to
use
chemicals or possibly WMDs. It is disturbing that they were able to
get
their hands on 20 tons of this material. We should be on the lookout
of a
similar method of operation in the U.S. We should pay particular attention
to stolen/lost vehicles that have large cargo capacity (stolen Ryder
or
U-Haul) and more so, should be particularly suspicious of any foreign
national trying to modify a truck with a battering ramp type of device
that
is designed to allow a truck to penetrate building barriers and
fortifications. In this case, welding equipment is the equivalent of
the
pilot schools that they used for 9/11. Take care." Sam K. (Thank
You again
Sam, we all appreciate it!)
*Dots?.....Dots?....
"Used to be an Indian restaurant near where I receive my postal
mail, a
couple of doors down actually. It's recently been taken over and changed
to
a Pakistani restaurant... about 2 months ago. I've noticed in the past
few
months that both the visitors and the staff have been purchasing a LOT
of ex-police vehicles.. ie: CHP, Local PD ... mostly Ford Crown Victorias,
many with the push bumpers still on them, all still black and white,
but
with no graphics. Kind of curious why the sudden interest in recent
model,
surplused patrol cars don't you think ???? Granted, some convert them
for
use as Taxi's, but none of them have been re-painted... NONE in over
a
month. There must be 5 parked in the side parking lot at any given time
of
the day. Certainly got my attention as beyond the norm" .........
Here is
the article that triggered my concern: Saudi Arabia — Al Qaeda
militants in
the Saudi capital, Riyadh, have stolen up to 15 police cars, with likely
help from sympathizers within the force, as part of a strategy to set
up
fake official roadblocks to abduct or kill Westerners, according to
an
international security company working in the kingdom. The militants
also
have painted other vehicles to resemble official ones and made replica
uniforms." Chris

*Afghanistan
June 28, 2004 -- Coalition special operations forces raided two
anti-coalition compounds and captured two top regional enemy leaders
in
pre-dawn missions June 26 in southern Afghanistan, a news release from
the
coalition military command reported today. The enemy leaders surrendered
as
coalition forces surprised the insurgents, the news release said. Captured
are Abdul Hafiz Majid and Mohammed Daud, who the release identified
as
Taliban leaders. Coalition officials have evidence indicating the captured
pair was supplying arms to insurgents, conducting rocket attacks on
military
forces, attacking non-governmental aid organizations, funding ambushes
and
trafficking opium.
*Iraq
Lemme see..... what was it that couldn't be done? Impossible? Oh yeah,
establish a government of Irai's in Iraq by...today???
June 26 04 - When the United States put $15 million each on the heads
of
Saddam Hussein's sons, Uday and Qusay Hussein, it took only about week
for
someone to turn them in. That's precisely what coalition officials hope
will
happen with the $10 million bounty on the head of fugitive Jordanian
terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, according to Dan Senor, spokesman for
the
Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq. On Feb. 12, the State
Department announced that Secretary of State Colin Powell authorized
the
doubling of the reward for information on Zarqawi. At the time,
Powell described Zarqawi as a "close associate" of al Qaeda
leader Osama bin
Laden. The reward was increased from $5 million to $10 million for
information on Zarqawi's location. "We have very credible intelligence
and
believe that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is responsible for the deaths of hundreds
of Iraqis," Senor told reporters at a Baghdad news conference today.
"He's
responsible for the deaths of Americans, in some cases before Operation
Iraqi Freedom. We believe he has been operating inside Iraq for some
time,
based on a document we've obtained and other intelligence that corroborates
it." (this butt-boy is sooo dead!)
*CERT recommends anything but Internet Explorer
US CERT (the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team), is advising people
to
ditch Internet Explorer and use a different browser after the latest
security vulnerability in the software was exposed. A statement on the
CERT
site said: "There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in
technologies relating to the IE domain/zone security model, the DHTML
object
model, MIME type determination, and ActiveX. It is possible to reduce
exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser,
especially when browsing untrusted sites." CERT otherwise recommends
users
to set security settings to high and disable JavaScript Malicious code,
dubbed variously as "Scob" or "Download.Ject", originally
posted last week
on a Russian website, could be downloaded secretly onto websites using
Microsoft's Internet Information Server 5.0. The code could then be
used to
log keystrokes made by visitors to the site - so long as they used Internet
Explorer as their browser. Information, including passwords, was then
to be
emailed to the criminals behind the attack. Microsoft said that it was
unaware of widespread consumer impact and noted that the Russian site
had
been taken offline. It said some enterprise users of Windows 2000 Server,
specifically users running IIS 5.0, were being targeted by "Download.Ject".
According to MS, this is not a trojan or worm but "a targeted manual
attack
by individuals or entities towards a specific server". It said
users should
use a firewall, ensure they have the latest software updates and use
anti-virus software.
*Clinton's book
"Bill Clinton has been characterized in many ways, often unflattering.
But
would even the most strident Bubba basher describe his life as a "failure"?
There's no need to --- the ex-prez has already done so himself. Believe
it
or not, in the last sentence of his bestseller's acknowledgements, the
guy
who would never 'fess up without qualifiers declares outright that none
of
his friends and family "are responsible for the failure of my life."
"It's a
typo," an Alfred A. Knopf PR flack told the New York Sun. For "failure",
read: "failures." While the mistake has been fixed in the
725,000 copy
second printing, it remains permanent in the book's 1.5 million first
run.
No errata slip was issued. And, yes, the author was made aware of the
OOPS!
along with others, including the former CIA director being called "John
Woosley" in the index. Attention e-Bay hawkers: Make sure to use
the above
info as a bonus money-maker." (Jewish World Review)
