Toronto Globe and Mail "A year after SARS began killing 44 Ontarians and battered the provincial economy, Canada's largest province remains vulnerable to 'the death, sickness, suffering and economic disaster that will come with the next outbreak of disease,' according to a landmark report on the epidemics," says the Globe and Mail with a report from the Canadian Press. "The report by Mr. Justice Archie Campbell of the Ontario Superior Court warns, '[Severe acute respiratory syndrome] showed that Ontario's public health system is broken and needs to be fixed.'" |
