Defending the Fleet in Harbor In this article, published this week in the Journal of Homeland Security, ANSER's Steve Dunham describes how Stevens Institute of Technology, in Hoboken, NJ, is studying ways to protect U.S. Navy ships in harbor from attacks by small boats and swimmers. Prof. Michael Bruno of Stevens Tech sees the technology as 100% applicable to other areas. He expects spinoffs to areas such as navigation and environmental monitoring, which Stevens is involved with already.
