KPUA Radio, Hilo, HI "State transportation officials say allowing non-ticketed passengers past airport security checkpoints for lei greetings or to bid aloha to friends and family won't happen in Hawaii anytime soon," according to the Associated Press. "Pittsburgh International is being considered to become the nation's first major airport to get the OK to abandon the post-nine-eleven rule that says only ticketed passengers are allowed past security checkpoints."
